Broker's Comments

Back the ‘eighties, the Brits were building “caravans” for cruising sailors - the French had other ideas! Jeanneau came up with a modern looking design; sleek, good looking, slippery, versatile.

This particular yacht has been in the same ownership since she was new in 1982, so this must say something about her qualities. We offered her for sale briefly last year, but sadly the owner has recently passed away, and she is now being sold on behalf of the family at a reduced price.

She has a lifting keel and beaching legs, so as well as being a great coastal cruiser she can “take the ground,” opening up a wealth of cruising possibilities.

Never raced, this yacht was originally berthed in Pwllheli, and has obviously made the voyage round Land’s End to the Solent, and she has been cruised to Northern France and along the South Coast.

She needs a little updating – maybe a chart plotter and a new VHF would be a preference, but she has a great chart table – nice and big with plenty of room for a bit of proper navigating.

Sadly the owner is deceased and we are having difficulty locating all the documentation. This may well be resolved in the near future.

Have a good look at the photos and then give a ring here at Boatshed Port Solent.
