This historic vessel was commissioned by the Canadian government in 1944. This is a beautiful boat, with a custom interior finished in mahogany paneling, many windows to bring in outside lighting, and a variety of custom electric lighting fixtures. The master suite, located in the aft, has a full-sized jetted tub and shower, and a full-sized flush toilet in a separate room. The helm is traditional and reflects the historic roots of the boat. The galley supports full-sized appliances and is centered around a Dickinson Atlantic diesel stove and heater.

This is a carvel planked wood vessel. Full displacement hull with raked stem, rounded bilges, log keel, and rounded stern. Forward pilothouse with flying bridge, open aft deck, and walk around side decks.

Iron hull fasteners removed and replaced with stainless steel in 2017. Hull caulking replaced in Fall of 2021 and bottom painted.

Vessel built to Transport Canada specification by well-respected yard in Vancouver, B.C.

This is a project boat. Several electrical and electronic upgrades are in progress and require completion. The fly bridge is functional but has been significantly weathered and will need to be rebuilt.
